Astral Tiling Pty Ltd (ABN 22 633 747 574) (“Astral Tiling”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in running our projects, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry or quote request, we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, your role (for example builder or architect), and details of your project, products and message.
When you browse the website, we don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Our pages load the Jost font from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
On our projects, we keep quality and safety records such as inspection and test plans, site photos, Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) sign-on sheets (names, companies and signatures of the people working on site) and payment claims (business contact details of builders and clients). These records are private and are not published on the website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and arrange samples, supply or installation.
- To carry out and document our work, including quality inspections, workplace health and safety records, and claims for payment.
- To meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for marketing unless you have asked us to keep in touch.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information where it’s needed for the purposes above. This includes the builder or client on a project (for example, inspection records, SWMS sign-on sheets and payment claims), and the service providers we use to run our business. These are our website host, Microsoft 365 (email and OneDrive document storage) and our accounting software. Some of these providers may store information on servers outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How we keep it secure
Enquiries from the website are sent to our business email. Project records, photos and signatures are kept in a private, password-protected area of our system that only Astral Tiling’s administrator can access, with copies in our business OneDrive. We keep records only for as long as we need them for our work and legal obligations.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it. Contact us using the details below, and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
