Golden Grove Village Tavern Beer Garden
Screed, waterproofing, cobblestone paving and French-pattern tiling to the new extension at the Golden Grove Village Tavern, delivered for Mossop while the venue kept trading.
In November 2025 Astral Tiling completed the floor finishes for the new extension at the Golden Grove Village Tavern, a busy local venue at the heart of Golden Grove in Adelaide’s north-east, working for builder Mossop Construction + Interiors.
Our scope covered the full floor package: screed to set levels and falls, waterproofing, cobblestone paving and tiling laid in a French pattern (also called Versailles or opus pattern). The French pattern combines several tile sizes in a repeating layout, so setting-out and joint alignment were critical to keep the pattern true across the whole floor and through to the adjoining areas.
The tavern stayed open throughout. We sequenced the works and kept our areas clean, safe and separated from patrons, so the venue could keep trading while the extension was finished on programme.
